This page collects every tool you can use to create a printable 3D model directly in your browser – no CAD skills, no software to install. Each of the four generators is built for a different kind of job. Further down you will find which one is good for what.
The two AI generators
Generators for a specific purpose
Which generator fits your project?
The four generators do not differ in quality but in the kind of geometry they produce. The shortest answer is in this list:
- You have an idea in your head but no dimensions – a figure, a decorative piece, a model-making part: AI 3D model generator
- You need a part with fixed dimensions – a bracket, an adapter, a spacer, a gear: AI CAD model generator
- You have a motif, a logo or a silhouette and want a cutter made from it: Cookie cutter generator
- You have a photo and want it printed as a flat relief: Relief generator
The four generators in detail
AI 3D model generator
A text description or uploaded images become a fully three-dimensional model – figures, decorative pieces, organic shapes. The result is a mesh, not a dimensionally accurate CAD model: for parts that have to fit somewhere, the CAD generator is the right choice. The options and post-processing steps available are described on the generator’s own page.
This generator has a daily allowance: 3 generations without an account, 10 with an account, each measured over 24 hours. With “text to 3D” you can switch on “higher level of detail”, which counts as two generations; with “image to 3D” there is “with texture” (+1 generation) and “private (not in the gallery)”. If a generation fails for technical reasons, it is not counted.
AI CAD model generator
Here you describe the part in millimetres and refine it step by step. What is created in the background is not an image-based model but real CAD code, executed on our own server – which is why the dimensions are traceable rather than estimated. If important details are missing, the generator asks first instead of guessing.
This is the generator for anything that has to fit. Which inputs it accepts and which tools are available for checking dimensions is described on the generator’s own page.
Cookie cutter generator
An uploaded image is turned into a black-and-white silhouette in your browser, and that silhouette becomes the cutter. Only the outline matters here, not the depth of the motif – which is why clear contours with strong contrast work best.
Besides the classic cutter there is an outline-only variant and a two-part stamp set with an embossed motif. Sizes, heights and the limits of detail reproduction are described on the generator’s own page.
Relief generator
An AI estimates the depth information in a photo and forms a flat object with a sculpted surface from it. Unlike the cookie cutter generator, what counts here is the depth of the motif, not its outline.
And unlike the AI 3D model generator, the result stays flat: a level back with a raised front rather than an object modelled all the way round. Which depth models you can choose and which dimensions are possible is described on the generator’s own page.
What applies to every generator
Creating costs nothing
You can use all four generators without placing an order. You only pay for the print – or, with the two AI generators, for the optional download of the STL file at €4.99.
From model to order
Below the finished model you will find buttons for the printing processes. They lead into the price calculator, where material, colour, size and quantity are set. Which processes are offered depends on the generator: FDM, SLA and SLS for the CAD and relief generators, SLA and SLS for the AI 3D model generator, and FDM with a suitably preselected material for the cookie cutter generator.
How many attempts are normal?
The first attempt rarely lands. Change only one thing at a time, keep your wording short and concrete, and give dimensions in millimetres. With the image-based generators the quality of your source image is the single most important factor: clear contours, strong contrast, no busy background.
⚠️ Important note on AI-generated models
Please note: models and the dimensions shown are produced automatically and may contain inaccuracies. We accept no liability for inaccurate dimensions, for deviations between the dimensions shown and those printed, or for consequential damage caused by a lack of fit.
Check the dimensions before ordering, allow additional tolerance on parts that have to fit precisely or are safety-relevant, and when in doubt order a prototype first.
Stuck?
If none of the generators fits your project, or the result is not usable, send us your description or sketch. For technical problems you can reach our customer service through the contact form.
