Cookie cutter generator

Design your own cookie cutter – a custom 3D-printed cutter from your image

With our cookie cutter generator you create your own cutting shape in a few clicks. Simply upload an image – a company logo, a favourite animal, a name or your own design – and the tool turns it into a print-ready 3D shape automatically. You can then order the finished cookie cutter directly from us as a 3D print – with a filament suitable for food contact already preselected in the price calculator.

How the cookie cutter generator works

Three steps from image to finished cutter:

1. Upload an image

Upload any image – a logo, a drawing or a photo. The generator converts it to black and white in your browser and suggests a suitable value automatically. With the threshold slider („Schwellwert”) you decide which areas are recognised as the shape; the preview updates as you drag. Tip: images with clear, dark outlines on a light background work best.

2. Adjust the settings

Choose one of three variants:

  • Normal – the classic cookie cutter with inner ribs that press the motif into the dough.
  • Outline only – a plain silhouette without inner ribs, ideal for simple shapes.
  • Stamp set – a two-part set of cutter and embossing stamp for particularly detailed cookies.

Then set the size (20–300 mm, longest side) and the height (10–40 mm). The optional stabilising grid (Normal and outline variants, not for the stamp set) adds extra rigidity to larger cutters; for Normal it is on by default.

3. 3D preview & order

After clicking „Modell erstellen” (create model) you get an interactive 3D preview of your cutter. You can rotate the model with the mouse and view it from every side. If everything looks right, click „Preis berechnen & Bestellen” (calculate price & order) – and we print your custom cookie cutter.

Why have a custom cookie cutter printed?

Food-safe material preselected

For cookie cutters we preselect GreenTEC Pro in the price calculator, a bio-based filament suitable for food contact. You can change the material there – the food-contact statement applies to GreenTEC Pro.

Which motifs work

A company logo for the trade fair stand, a wedding motif for the celebration, a favourite animal for a children’s birthday party or simply your own name – almost any motif works.

Made in Germany

Your cutter is printed in Germany and shipped directly to you.

Frequently asked questions about custom cookie cutters

Which images work well in the cookie cutter generator?

Images with clear outlines and high contrast work best – logos, silhouettes, clip art or black-and-white drawings, for example. Photos can be used as well, but the subject should stand out clearly from the background. The threshold slider helps you fine-tune the result.

Is the 3D-printed cookie cutter food-safe?

Yes, as long as you keep the preselected material. The price calculator opens with GreenTEC Pro, a bio-based filament suitable for contact with food and free from BPA. If you choose a different material there, that statement no longer applies. We recommend rinsing the cutter with warm water before using it for the first time.

How large can the cookie cutter be?

You can set the longest side between 20 mm and 300 mm. For classic biscuits we recommend 60–100 mm. Above 150 mm the stabilising grid is worth switching on for extra rigidity.

What is the difference between Normal, Outline and Stamp?

Normal creates a cutter with inner ribs that emboss the motif into the dough. Outline only produces a plain silhouette without inner ribs. Stamp set creates a two-part set of cutter and separate embossing stamp for particularly detailed results.

Can I clean the cookie cutter in the dishwasher?

We recommend cleaning it by hand with warm water and washing-up liquid. Because 3D-printed parts can lose their shape at high temperatures, the cutter should not go in the dishwasher or into very hot water.

How fine can the details be?

Very thin lines are removed automatically so that the cutter stays printable and stable – details below roughly 0.6 mm disappear. If a motif comes out incomplete, increase the size or use a simpler version of the image.
