It’s that simple
Our new Cookie Cutter Generator takes you to the finished cookie cutter in three steps:
1. upload image and adjust contrast
Simply upload a picture of your choice. Whether logo, drawing or photo. The tool automatically recognizes the optimal threshold value to convert your motif cleanly into a black and white template. You can fine-tune the result at any time using a slider until every detail is just right.
2. choose style and size
Three different variants are available:
- Normal – The classic cutter with internal ridges that transfer the motif to the dough. Ideal for detailed designs.
- Outline only – A pure silhouette without inner bars. Perfect for simple shapes that only need to be cut out.
- Stamp set – A two-piece set consisting of a cookie cutter and matching embossing stamp. They can be used to cut out cookies and then emboss them with the motif.
You can also freely adjust the size (20-300 mm) and height (10-40 mm). For the “Normal” and “Outline only” versions, an optional stabilizing grid can be activated to give the cutter additional strength.
3. live preview and order directly
After clicking on “Create model”, your cookie cutter is generated as a 3D model in real time. An interactive preview lets you view the result from all sides, including rotating, zooming and panning. If you are satisfied, the “Calculate price & order” button will take you directly to the order process, where the price and delivery details for your individual cookie cutter will be calculated.
The technology behind it
Behind the simple interface is a powerful backend: the image processing uses an intelligent threshold method (Otsu method) to extract a clean contour from each image. A specialized server then converts this contour into a printable STL file. The 3D preview in the browser is based on Three.js and shows the model with realistic lighting and shadows, without any additional software.
